what do I want to be when I grow up
I’ve always wondered what do I want to be when I grow up.
Why don’t I know?
There’s never been a moment where I’ve thought of a job or career and known that is me— that is what I want spend life doing.
I’ve done plenty of things I’ve enjoyed but what I’ve recognized in myself is no matter what job I’ve had, I’m good at it.
I can learn it and I can do it to the best of my ability whether or not it feels like the idea of a dream job.
I’ve come to a point of realization, I can do any job I’ve decided to try sight unseen.
I can pay the bills with any job while doing it successfully.
But what I want to be when I grow up is: To be Sami
To know her at her core, her values.
To be accepting of what those things are not.
To know what serves her highest good.
To allow her grace in choosing to remove the rest.
To laugh often. To cry freely, happy and sad.
To keep dancing and singing.
To be kind.
To just be human.
Take good care and travel safe,
Sami
